The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser. We have no accounts, no sign-up forms, and we never see the numbers you type — your dog's weight stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing, right now: this site runs no analytics and has no account system. If analytics are ever added, they will be aggregated and anonymous (pages visited, approximate region, device type), used only to decide which tools to improve, and this page will say so before they switch on. Advertising partners, where ads are shown, may set cookies as described in their own policies; you can block cookies in your browser without affecting any calculator.
What we never do
- Sell personal data — we hold none worth selling.
- Require an email to show a result.
- Track you across other websites for our own purposes.

Site questions
Is this site really free?
Yes — every calculator, table and breed page is free, with no sign-up and no email gate. The site costs little to run; if advertising or affiliate links ever appear, they will be labelled and will never change a calculation.
Who maintains the calculators?
One independent publisher with veterinary-consultant review of the formulas. Brand input is limited to published energy density; no manufacturer reviews or approves any page before it ships.
Where do the numbers come from?
The formulas and factors come from AAHA, the Pet Nutrition Alliance, the Merck Veterinary Manual, WSAVA and FEDIAF — detailed, with worked examples, on the method page linked from every footer.
I found an error — what happens next?
Write via the contact page with the page, your inputs and what you expected. Reproducible errors are fixed first, across every affected page, with the change dated on the method page.
Your rights over the little data that exists: server logs are kept briefly for security and aggregate counting and are not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build profiles. If analytics are added later, they will be aggregate-only and this page will say so before they switch on. You can ask what is held about an IP address you control and have it deleted by writing to the contact address; there is no account data to export because there are no accounts. If this policy changes, the change appears here with a new date at the top — never silently.
What is never collected, by design: no names, no accounts, no dog profiles, no feeding histories, no location beyond the country-level signal any web server sees, and nothing from the calculators themselves — your inputs are computed in your browser and forgotten when the tab closes. What exists is plumbing: brief server logs for security and counting, and, if you write to us, the email you sent. There is nothing else to sell, leak or lose, which is the strongest privacy property a site can have: absence.
