How many meals, honestly?
Two meals is the adult standard and what most evidence and practice support. One meal suits some adults but concentrates volume — a consideration for deep-chested, bloat-prone breeds, where two smaller meals are the safer habit. Three to four meals is puppy territory and medical territory (pancreatitis, diabetes plans, tiny dogs prone to hypoglycaemia).
